So you’re looking to re-do your kitchen or bathroom, but you have no idea where to start. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Schedule an appointment with one of our friendly and talented design experts, and we will walk you through every step of your home improvement project from start to finish.
Your designer will get to know your vision, your style, and your room dimensions to help you and your contractor bring your dream space to life! Design appointments run differently depending on what the focus of your project is, so scroll down to learn what to expect and how to prepare for your specific type of appointment!

Regardless of the type of appointment you have booked, the re are a few key things you should do before you meet with your designer to prepare. Each appointment is unique depending on the type and scope of your project. Click below to expand the section for the type of appointment you have scheduled to see details.
Please bring your home plans, blue prints, and/or any relevant measurements that are available for your project. Use our Measurement Guide if you need help.
When do you want to start and complete your project by? Is it a strict or flexible schedule? This is important to tell your designer up front as lead times vary widely by product.
How much are you willing to invest in your whole project? Knowing that up front will help your designer guide you to product options that fit both your style and budget.
It is helpful to come in with an idea of styles, materials, or aesthetics you want to emulate. Find inspiration photos online and bring them with you to the showroom!
You’ll start by meeting with a designer so they can learn a little bit about your project needs and show you some options.
Pick out any vanities, faucets, sinks, toilets, mirrors, sconces, tubs, shower heads/parts, accessories, and/or tile at this stage.
Once you know what you want to purchase in each category, review all the information with your installer before you place your order.
Once you’ve approved of everything, you’ll place your order, pay for your products, and get info on lead times.
You need to know appliance dimensions before starting, so if you still need to finalize your appliances talk to your designer.
If your project requires new cabinetry, ask your designer to explore a variety of types and doorstyles. See below for the process.
Pick out tile that fits your style and budget. Make sure to confirm the amount of tile you need with your contractor.
Pick out any sinks, faucets, hardware, or accessories you need for your project that complement your cabinetry and tile.
Explore a variety of cabinetry options for your space that fit the 3D drawing parameters & make final decisions.
Your designer will complete a preliminary design based on your input & measurements. You should review this with your installer.
Once you’ve decided on your cabinetry and approved the renderings, you’ll get info on lead times and place your order.
You can browse our tile selections on your own if you want, or you can work with one of our tile experts. They will help you find tile that best fits your project.
Pick out tile that fits your style and budget. We’ll guide you to the proper tile amount needed, but you’ll need to confirm this with your contractor.
Grout and mortar are an integral part of completing your tile project. We have many options that you can purchase with your tile if you choose.
A team member will help ring you up and give you information on lead times for non-stock tile. You’ll select either in-store pickup or delivery at this stage.
Call, message, or email us and get connected to a real person. We’ll ensure product combatibility and help with design suggestions.
After you’ve checked out and paid for your items, you’ll go through the shipping and installation process. Read below for details.
If you’re working on a larger project, make sure you’ve picked out anything else you need like plumbing, hardware, tile, and accessories. Ask your designer for guidance.
Depending on the type of product, it will either be available for pick up or shipped. Lead times vary. Carefully inspect your product upon arrival and report if you find any damage.
We will coordinate the installation process with you and your dedicated contractor, address any touch-ups, and review how to maintain your new products.
