WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SHOP AT STUDIO41?

If you are looking for a few small products for a DIY project, shopping online from our website or visiting a showroom to browse is best. If you are doing a larger project, we recommend using the CONTACT US forms to work with us online or scheduling an appointment with the location closest so that you can receive assistance from our professional staff.

HOW DO STUDIO41’S PRICES COMPARE TO OTHER LARGE CHAINS?

We monitor our competitors' prices on a daily basis to ensure that we are always giving you the lowest possible price. Talk to your dedicated designer or sales associate for more information on pricing for your specific items. We also offer special discounts for our trade partners.

WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY GUARANTEE COMES WITH YOUR NEW PRODUCT?

All products that Studio41 sells come complete with the manufacturer's warranty. We also offer an additional Studio41 warranty on windows on top of the manufacturer’s warranty. For more information about Studio41’s window program and warranty, click here.

HOW DOES STUDIO41’S PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE WORK?

Studio41 will match a documented lower total price from our competitors on the same available brand and model, excluding closeout or sale items at our sole discretion - online or at one of our store locations (now in the Chicagoland area in Illinois). We are committed to offering our customers fair, competitive prices for the products we sell. And, we will be there to provide customer service for you after the sale.

CAN I GET MY NEW PRODUCT DELIVERED?

Professional delivery is available in the Chicagoland area by our trucks or nationally via LTL Shipping. You can ask your sales associate or contact us at either info@shopstudio41.com or 877-472-2500 to coordinate a delivery. We can also hold your product at our showroom for you to come pick up if you would prefer.

Studio41 uses LTL shipping to deliver large or hard to ship items. The freight carrier will call the consignee to confirm the delivery time window. Setting the appointment time can only be done by the carrier, not Studio41, so it is important we have the right information so your delivery is not delayed.

A common misconception is that residential LTL delivery drivers will come into your house. LTL carriers and their drivers cannot enter your residence under any circumstance due to liability issues. Please make sure your installer or someone who is able to move a large package, over 100lbs, is available to assist you on the day of your delivery.

The freight carrier requires that we pay a residential delivery fee for orders that are being delivered to a residential address. It can be difficult for the large trucks and vans required for LTL delivery to maneuver residential streets. This fee can fluctuate and is charged by the freight broker. Studio41 usually passes this fee along to the customer.

Lift gates are needed for all residential pickups and deliveries. Because most LTL shipments are loaded and unloaded on docks, special trucks and preparations have to be made ahead of time to ensure we can get your product in and out of the truck safely. There are occassionally lift gate charges associated with these deliveries.

WHAT IS STUDIO41’S SHIPPING POLICY?

Studio41 offers free UPS Ground shipping for web orders over $100 that ship within the contiguous United States. We do not currently ship outside of the contiguous US. Other available shipping options such as "Next-Day Air" or "Second-Day Air" are excluded from free shipping. Free shipping is also not valid on purchased items that are too heavy or over-sized to ship via UPS Ground, in addition to special or promotional offers as indicated on the web site. Orders for tile products are excluded from the free shipping policy.

Examples of products that do not qualify for free shipping are: tubs, toilets and sinks (most china products), shower doors, tub surrounds, mirrors, doors, tile, and windows. Orders that require common carrier shipping are delivered via an LTL common carrier like Roadway/Yellow Freight because they offer residential delivery to your door.

If your order requires common carrier/LTL shipping, we will get you a shipping quote for your approval once you have placed your order. If you have any additional questions about common carrier delivery, please feel free to call us at 877-472-2500.

For special order products, there may also be an inbound freight charge required when we order a product for you that would be in addition to the shipping cost incurred when we deliver it to you from our warehouse. We will notify you for your approval if there is an additional freight charge.

Studio41 is no longer shipping shower doors or shower enclosures nationwide. We are happy to fulfill this orders in areas where we have local showrooms. We apologize for this inconvenience.

The majority of our products are in stock and ready to ship. Typically, we ship within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday-Friday; in-stock orders received before 2pm (central time) Monday-Friday are shipped the same day.

HOW DO RETURNS AND EXCHANGES WORK?

Studio41 wants every customer to get the perfect product for their project and be happy and satisfied with the result. We realize that occasionally you may receive something that turns out not to be exactly what you needed or wanted, so if a product needs to be returned we make it easy.

Returns must be made within 45 days of pickup, delivery, or shipping. Return shipping for some products may be at cost to the customer.

Stock items that do not meet our return conditions may be subject to a 30-50% restocking fee and are subject to inspection. The fee may increase if the item does not meet our return condition terms: product must be clean, in new condition, and unaltered; product must be complete, including all parts and pieces; original packaging must be in new condition; installed product cannot be returned.

All Special-Order items are not returnable. Includes – TILE, tubs, cabinets and countertops, vanities, shower doors, non-stock finishes, custom pieces, etc.

All custom-made items: (any product that is unique to a customer’s specifications), such as custom cabinetry / vanities, plated and/or special finish plumbing and hardware items,customer shower glass, tubs etc... cannot be returned.

HOW DO REFUNDS WORK?

Returns are inspected at our warehouse upon receipt; if the item is determined to have been installed or used in any way (except in case of defect), credit will not be given and the product can be returned to you at your cost. A refund for returned merchandise is processed after inspection and within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Special order returns will only be credited if the item is deemed to be defective upon return.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED?

Customers assume responsibility if damaged merchandise is signed for at the time of delivery. All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery; if you suspect damage, please note 'damaged' with your signature or refuse the entire delivery and call us immediately at 773-687-4399.

If a customer signs for a common carrier delivery and does not note any damage, then it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the freight company to recoup the damages. If concealed damages are reported within 48 hours for UPS deliveries, we can file a claim on behalf of the customer and work to resolve it.

To return any product, you must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). To obtain an RGA and shipping instructions, please call our customer service department at: 877-472-2500. Requests for returns are generally processed within 2-4 days and you will receive shipping instructions along with your RGA in your email. Once an RGA number is issued, the product needs to be returned within 45 days.

Please note: items returned without an RGA will not be credited. When returning products, be sure to use UPS or other courier service that can provide you with a tracking number for your return. Studio41 will not be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit and/or do not have proper tracking information.

WHAT IS STUDIO41’S CANCELLATION POLICY?

A stock item may be cancelled anytime prior to shipment. Special order items may require a restocking fee of up to 30% if they have already been produced and shipped from the manufacturer. Made to order/custom items may not be cancelled. Please call us at 877-472-2500 if you have any questions.

What happens if the price or description of a product are incorrect on the website?

Studio41 is committed to offering our customers fair, competitive prices for the products we sell, as well as transparent descriptions and specifications. We reserve the right to correct data errors if a product is incorrectly priced or mislabeled on the website. Studio41 is not required to fulfill an order if a product is not priced or described correctly on the website.

Studio41 may contact you before processing an order that contains any items that are not priced or described correctly on the website.
